Habit Lounge-2610 Main Street
Started off the weekend by checking out the post-fire Habit Lounge. I found the wine list relatively unexciting, and neither was the cocktail list…which I was expecting more from due to their relation to the Cascade Room. Nevertheless I was happy enough to start my unwind for the weekend with a Kronenburg.
For food, Baz and I decided to share some appies as none of the entrees stuck out...
Eating at the renewed Habit and starting the weekend with a kroenenburg. Yum. Good salt cod cakes, meatballs, and cheese brioche! Too dark for pictures!
Mm.. Wish I could start my day more often with a croissant and latte from Thomas Haas! Particularly if you are served by the man himself!
Like extremely garlicy dips??

Glazed chicken with broccolini and mashed potato
Made this dish last night and I will definitely serve this again! Originally I was going to cook the crispy glazed pork chop dish, again from another Jamie Oliver cookbook we received for Christmas, however, when we arrived at Capers, they did not have chops, only tenderloin. Refuel update- 1944 W.4th Avenue
So I posted some terrible pictures from the dinner at Re-fuel but wasn’t able to give my commentary on those dishes as I tumblred from my iphone.
